First Aid for Mental Health

We will provide funding to universities to train lecturers in First Aid for Mental Health so that they are qualified to teach students. This will help students and lecturers recognize signs of mental illness in their friends and colleagues, offer support or signpost them to other services. It will also help to break down the stigma of mental illness.

Projects in the developing world

R World has formed a partnership with the Brown Munthali Foundation (BMF) in Malawi. The BMF carries out charitable work developing the community of Chitimba and helps the poorest people in Malawi; vulnerable children, orphans and broken families. R World is fundraising to build a library; a project designed to help break the cycle of poverty and advocate self-sufficiency.
